Choreographer Nathalie Bard
is directing the company Ballet Actuel since its creation in 1987.
The path of Nathalie is as atypical as are her choreographies.
Trained in many dance techniques,
she decides at the age of 20, after having been ballet mistress
for a choreography of Marc Bogaerts in the Royal Ballet of Flanders,
to stop performing
in order to dedicate herself completely to choreography.
Today she has 38 choreographies to her name,
realised for the company Ballet Actuel
and for foreign companies
among which the 'Companhia Portuguesa de Bailado Contemporaneo'
in Lisbon.
